Direct deposit is the preferred method of payroll wage distribution. Direct deposit is the electronic transfer of funds into a checking or savings account. It is the safest and most efficient way to receive pay. Learn how to set up direct deposit below.
- Log in at My.OregonState.edu
- On the "Employee Dashboard" search for "Direct Deposit" and select the resource stream.
- Click "Add New" under "Proposed Pay Distribution"
- Complete the popup page with your banking account information.

- Check the box and click "Save New Deposit"
- On the main menu select the SECOND Authorization box and click "Save Changes"
Note: It will take a minimum of 7 days after initial Direct Deposit will be Active. It may take a full regular payroll cycle.
